Took car to local renault dealer for mot & service. Dealer phoned to give me news that car needs new box which is £2200 retail. Dealer gave me RUK 0800 customer service number for dealers. They answered the phone after 3 rings it was a customer service manager who was surprised by my use of their free dealer number.
Anyway result was that they phoned me back later same day and offered to meet 70% of cost. Will find out Monday what local dealer will say, I might ask them to do clutch at same time depends on how much extra they want.:rasp:
