50mm Lens for Sony A200

Okay, I've got a pretty basic DSLR in the form of a Sony A200.

I'd like a 50mm prime, to get some nicer shots of the car etc.

f/1.8 will be fine, as I don't want to spend a fortune on an f/1.4.

I can't seem to find anything decent, mainly because I don't know what to look for. Sony & Minolta seem common on eBay?!

Are the Minolta ones any good? I don't want to spend a fortune, but likewise I don't want to buy cheap tat?
