54 plate DCI blue smoke

I've been offered a cheap black 3 dr dci. Cheap I mean around £500

It's done around 40k miles but the woman selling it says its shooting out blueish smoke and oil from the exhaust.

My first suggestion would be turbo but could it be anything easier/less costly to repair than this?

How much did you pay?

I saw a turbo on ebay for like 36 quid with 12 hours remaining.

when you go to look at it take the breather of and see if it is smoking through there to . the turbo's arent to bad to remove so if you get it whip that of first and see if it is the turbo thats causin the trouble if its more than the turbo just bang a new engine in . there like 800 quid but worth savin all the hassle fixxin the old engine .
