My 182 Trophy

Finally managed to get myself a 182 after years of wanting one. Never thought i'd be lucky enough to get a Trophy.

Found it on a salvage site that my dad was using for work and pursuaded him to get it.

Its no. 400/500 and needs a bit of work lol.

When i first got it home

When we got it off the trailer

It also has a scrape on the rear quarter

and a scrape across the roof and spoiler

doesn't look too damaged, how much you reckon it'll set you back to fix it up?i suppose more interestingly, how much did you part with?

Surely all that needs is a bumper to make it road worthy/pass a MOT?

Was it a right off?

I've put the first 2 pics up before I think, rest are new tho. Not really made any progress yet lol

I don't have a clue tbh, my dad's going to sort it all out then i'm just gonna pay him for it. Not sure how much he paid at the auction, it was cheap tho

Usuall bumper stickers missing thing, so either respray or new bumper.

Yeah its was a right off. I've got a bumper, wing and side skirt for it so far. But it needs a new wheel, the door doesn't close, and i'm not sure if theres any damage to the suspension yet

If the door doesn't close, I wouldn't have even entertained buying it.

Not after everything I've been through. (Mine is a Cat C bought from a salvage yard as well)

I didn't realise that the door didn't shut from the pics i saw before my dad went to get it. He said it will be fine tho, so hopefully all will be well in the end

That trophy will be running long before you organise any Derbyshire meets

the door would really worry me. sounds like the body could of twisted as a worst case. or hopefully the doors just dropped and its an easy fix. did the air bags not go off?

Nahh the air bags didn't go off. Going to see what its like after its been on the jig. I'm just trusting my dad with it atm

lucky with air bags. passenger 1 is in the dash $$$. theres alot of things to chance still though but if air bags didnt go off it cant of been a big impact.

Yeah, my dad says it just looks like they've hit a kerb. If he thought it was going to be difficult to fix he wouldn't have bought it. So i'm keeping my finger crossed that it will turn out ok
