5l APC cheap this weekend

  Megane 225
Fisherprice ftw, i bet it does more damage than a rotory.

You need a rotary to remove deep scratches in the paint, the PC is no good for anything more than surface scratches. I never use mine anymore, much better using the DA on the air line as the pc vibrates far too much and spoils the final finish!

Not really true, a PC will correct the same marks as a Rotary, if you have the time !!! Rotary will always leave a crisper finish if you have the skills.

Do you not find with a rotary u can add swirls very easily? Esp on black/dark colours! My PC was a pile of pish! As said I much prefer the DA as it does the same job and doesn't vibrate as much so leaves a better finish!

That is the art to a rotary getting a perfect finish with one, which is why lots of people finish off with a PC type machine after.

Not really swirls, more hologrammes or marring which either a follow with the PC, or a hit with FF will get rid of these

Black brings out the finish better imo (RD3.02 down to LSP) with a rotary.
The PC was struggling with the Merc paint but it was a breeze with the rotary. Well I say a breeze, the whole van took 14 hours.
