It's approved by Renault, RN50* something I think it is.

Or RN700/710 as it says in the link

It's good stuff, I have been using it for the past 3 year in my GTI and now the 172, never had any problems with it. And it's made by Shell, so cannot be that bad?

Nope, Ive changed oil on all of my cars and never felt a difference on any of them. When I changed the oil in the clio the engine idled lovely and felt smoother.

Possibly. I've never experienced such a difference when changing to silkolene though.

I put some miller race/fast road oil in my car , a few week ago ,i had elf evo in before that.. there is a lot less noise ,while its warming up..
I will never buy another else now..
