Hi there, a chunk of the thin plastic layer within my nearside inner wheel arch flew off whilst bombing along the M11 the other week.
Is this the part discussed in this topic? Are they difficult to fit and can further issues soon occur if I don't get this replaced soon?
Many thanks.

That looks like passenger side, they still make those.

Hi Dave, yes on the passenger side. I think I got confused with the nearside/curbside explanation above.
So that would be the front arch liner I require?
Are these a pain to fit? I could have a go at work or are these best replaced by a renault specialist?

I forget what offside and nearside is too, I always say drivers side, passenger side.

This thread is about the drivers side as Renault stopped making them, but for some reason they still make the passenger side which is what you need, I would say find out Renaults main dealer price first, then go on Autodoc or ECP etc and see what they charge, they'll say they sell both but passengers side will show up, drivers side won't as they don't exist anymore.

The arch liners are easy to remove and fit, just don't lose the screws as they're tiny.

Marvellous! Much appreciate your help.

This lad has been trying to punt them off for £120 for ages. He has now come round to the idea that lowering the price will sell more...however slapping it on postage people still arent going to bite. They will come down soon enough!!

We need to set up a group buy with this guy from Poland!

He has 10,000 ! 😧

The can't be 10000 1*2's left running these days😂😂. Offer to do a bulk buy off him so he doesn't have to recycle them.

Surely these can be 3D printed, I know a lad that makes Iron Man suits and other Marvel stuff, they're so much more complicated than a f*cking arch liner.

Which will be pieced together. It's not impossible but it's not the method to choose.

Oh yeah his suits and whatnot are pieced together, but parts of them are larger and have bigger curves to them than an arch liner, so I don't understand how complex Iron Man suits are easy, but a sh*tty arch liner isn't?

Maybe i'm missing something about the capabilities of 3D printing.

Are arch liners not made from some kind of blown or pressed plastic? polythene or PVC?? Probably quite expensive to make the initial mould but 10 a penny there after? Hence the cost is likely to cover the dev costs, not the actual cost of producing one item??

be much easier to make one out of fibreglass I would think! 3D printing would take about 42 years wouldn’t it.

It’s a shame about 3D printing but as above. If you had the model it would take about a week to print, cost about £40 in material and that’s if it didn’t warp or come off the print bed mid print. It would have to be thicker as the printers don’t like the to do big areas thin and after that you’d have to strengthen it via acetone smoothing or similar process and chances are the first stone or tyre rub it would just smash.

Biggest shame is I bet the injection moulds for them are probably sitting on a shelf at the factory or thrown in a pile at a scrappers.

That kid from Poland is taking the piss. He won’t nibble on postage despite the fact they fit together and you could get 10 in the same box. Half tempted to do a £20 Ryanair return and bring a suitcase full of the f*****s back

He is taking the piss with postage.
My girlfriends Polish and its quite common for Polish people to send parcels from Poland to the UK. You can send a 32kg parcel for only £16.

Found a rake of these online that are new and also a genuine Renault part but there is only one issue and that's the price ..........

The part itself is £72 and postage is £48 so that would be a total of £120 for a bit of plastic.

Post #102 in this thread. They were £120 a month a go. Lads taking the piss. But I guess he has them and if people want then they will pay
Looking at all the stuff he's selling he's taking the piss with prices and postage.
f**k knows who's paying these prices? It's not like Renault RS's are common in Poland. I've been going for over 10 years and I've yet to see any.

How many people will have ripped these pieces off and binned them in the past coz trackcarz?

Won't be long before they start hitting the heady heights of Clio V6 undertray pricing.

Meanwhile the local Dieppe farmer, Pierre Le Champignon bought the job lot of injection molds from Renault at 300 Euros - to weigh down the tarp covering his hay bails.

** UPDATE **

After days of hunting I have just managed to buy 2 NEW & GENUINE Renault arch liners (6000073748)
I am collecting these tomorrow morning and will take images and post them up.

I can also get another 4 of them if needed from someone that has them and they are new genuine items with OE part number and that are in the UK.
They are NOT cheap copy's or fakes and are direct from Renault
