Lol... Maybe hes a very good driver and dont like spray in the rain hampering other drivers so he put some tasty stylish flaps on his car... How kind of him...
I know this particular car. Its not the darth vader one in GRspics, but v similar tho. Dont like the kit much, (although what options does one have for a new shape Clio really??? there are no other extreme kits available, so I can kinda sympathise with their choice), and the Saxo 16v badges plus big Renault sunstrip you cant see in that pic are baaaad moves, but the car sounds absolutely mint, trust me!!
IceMan, so what is it that is actually hiding under all that kit? is it a 1.2 16v or a dci? I agree that there aint many kits available for the clios but as the post above shows it can be done tastful, i bought the clio as i thought it looked good without needing major surgery, i would cringe if that pulled up beside me, without seeing the owner i would automatically guess a ned, yes he has clearly spent a lot of time and cash but its a mess and stinks of max power!
Its only a 1.2 16v, but its got an almost completely unsilenced exhaust, which sounds better than any car Ive ever heard! (apart from TVRs and Scoobies with straight through exhausts!) They guys down Strathy park and Coatbridge every week, its one of the most distinctive cars that goes down., and its also seen about Glasgow a lot. The guy is a bit of a ned, but there are worse (most of them with Novas and Corsas in this area!). I think the car would look ok with a only a little bit of work... removing the silly stuff (sunstrip and extra badges!), remeshing the kit with black mesh and taking the big alloy wing off the roof and replacing it with a smaller spoiler.
