After reading about and looking at various induction kits BMC etc i came up with an idea that may or may not work. This is where you lot come in.
As the airbox of the mk1 i fed by 2 thinish bore pipes how about cutting them off. Cutting a hole in the side of the box about 22mm diameter and then fix (plastic weld it or glass fibre) a pipe of the same outer dimensions to it. From this a cold air fee can be attached and routed towards the bumper grills under the passenger side light. Then finally replace the original filter with a better flowing panel item.
ok so there are plenty after market items around to go and buy, but i get bored on sunday afternoons and start thinking about stuff.
