AA car insurance, clueless

I got a letter through from them earlier on saying my quote is £312

I thought bargain but on what car is that quote ?? It said I asked for a quote last month. Turned the letter over the read the details & it had clio 1.8 16v tpft, 6yrs ncd, £312

I only paid £400 for insurance on that car about three years ago lol & that was FC too. I bet they'll want 3k or something daft for the vee, jokers !

Lol a friend of mine was with the AA, as you probably know your policy is underwritten by another insurer, the AA is just the agent.
Unfortunatly he had an accident and went to claim, rang them up and they put him through to his insurer...."Im sorry there must have been some kind of mistake we don't insure under 18's!"
He was 17 at the time.
