AAAARGH! what to do!

  Clio 182

Hiya lads......

im really in 2 minds about buying a valver at the mo, i keep thinking that its gonna cost the earth to run, thats it gonna break down on me etc

i have 3k to spend at the mo, 3k is about the price of a standard good condition 16v, no?

i just keep thinking that with 3k, i could put a 1.6 16v on tbs in the nova, coilovers, 4 pots etc and it will still be reliable.......

im really confused, any help would be appreciated

cheers guys

dont do all that to a nova coz at the end of the day (its a nova) !! My valver hasnt given me any headaches yet !! Go on treat yourself !! And for 3k you could get a MINT valver !!

  Not a Clio

you dont need to spend that much on a valver and if you did it would be pretty mint.

They can cost a lot to run but each time you drive it youll remember why you bought it.

check that the major things have been changed (receipt proof)

You could put a 2.0 redtop in the Nova, better brakes (got your pick from the other vauxhall models) and some coilovers for not much more than a grand.

dont wanna redtop!;)

the 1.6 will handle a hell of a lot better than a redtop and a the 1.6 will be quicker than a standard red top!

Get a valver! I went from a 2.0 ford focus esp (very reliable) to a valver and its ace!

Getting the cam belt done today and once thats done i cant see there being any problems Its only done 64,000 miles

Its twice as fun to drive although i wouldnt say its any quicker than the focus really!

Do it you need to

well iv test driven 3 valvers but i didnt really get a chance to give it some stick, however iv bean out in dean_rsis valver and it felt really quick!

my mates got a redtop 2ltr nova on t45s, that is f**king rapid, i mean scarily fast, but then it doesnt handle that well, so im thinking the 1.6 16v on tbs would give the same kinda power as a standard redtop but would keep the handling!
