Abandoned Theme Park - Scotland

I know how some people have liked my Euro stuff, so here is a more recent place I have been..

It's a great little place, something for everyone. Unfortunately it closed for good in October 2010, although the owner is thinking of making it into a static caravan park.

Out of interest, can't you get done (very easily with picture proof) for trespassing?

Things like that make me a bit sad. Someones spent all that money, families could go there and have happy times and it would give people in the local area jobs.

But its just sat there, looking all lonely.

Thanks everyone, how did I get in? I walked up the long drive lol.

Did I have permission? Nope, Can I get done for trespassing? Yes if I was in England, I could potentially be taken to court. Scotland however has no civil trespassing laws, you are free to roam where you like! (as long as it is not military/railways/airports/government land).

I think you'll find ... hes already on there !

Love the photos, This is something I'd love to try myself!

Sisters flatmate used to work there.

She was in court giving evidence for the guy that fell off the top of the ride in picture 14 and died.

Place was an actual dive, even when it was open.

Indeed i always rememeber Dreamland in Margate when i was really young (the theme park of one of the only fools episodes) which was run down and closed and that makes me abit sad as some good times were had there.

Must be that orange looping coaster in the pics (the looping star?) thats cursed as im sure that was once at Dreamland thinking about it.

No, I didn't really want to go near the castle as it was lit to the nines and there is live on security and a occupied house nearby, I left before I pushed my luck.

@Danny, many of the 'respected' users on 28days are stealing from sites, there is an infamous Cardiff bunker that they changed the locks on and what was once a hive of artifacts from WWII/Cold War is now a skeleton, check this article out... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/cardif...-raid-llandaff-nuclear-bunker-91466-28536123/

I also have very close information that some of their houses are still stock piled with the bunker goods and many other items from other sites.
