ABS / Service light

Hi all

Just been out for a spin to get some lunch and the ABS / Service light came on. A bit gutted as I only bought the little beauty on Saturday!

The 36000 mile service was done on time, and discs were done. I'm on 40k so a little bit surprised. Any thoughts? Haven't checked the brake fluid as it's in the work carpark.

It's probably your brake switch, if your abs light is also coming on too.

It seems quite common.

Happened to mine, messed up the cruise control as well. The switch is on the back of the brake pedal i think, still took renault 3 visits to fix!

i had a 182 did the same thing mine was a plug under the car that was getting water in it sits by the wheel well on the pas side

So you guys think it's not something I can fix myself? Instead it's an opportunity for Renault to screw me...!

my abs rings have come off my front hubs. they sit behind the disks and i can move them with my hand if you wanan check them

Mine does this quite frequently but not all the time - Service Light, Traction Control light and now recently ABS!!

Recently been serviced so I know its just rubbish.
Taking to the garage this weekend so fingers crossed they can sort it.

Typical french electrics!!
