Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Anyone tried the beta version of this yet? It's a very nice looking program but i haven't actually downloaded it yet.

How easy is it to use? I'd like to get into photo editing but it's only a 30 day free trial at the mo so i want to get my usage out of it rather than switch it on and not have a clue!

Will it have everything needed up to a pro level, as CS2 has

first time ive this this software looks pretty impressive.

i doubt i'd purchase it tho, for what i do i can just change it on photoshop.

I think the Adobe stance was a programme to compete with Apperture just for Photographers without the other bits the PS now has in it that they may not use. As above I can do what I need in CS2 so never bothered to download it either.

From what i've read they don't state that it can do anything different to photoshop, just that it's a better interface for editing digital photographs, thus making things quicker. I think it's supposed to really improve on editing a bulk of shots at once from what i can gather.

If it's a fair bit cheaper i might get that instead as i wouldn't use a lot of CS2 stuff.
