+1 there w**k for young ones now. i was told by swinton they are trying to get all they young ones off their books as they are moving out of that specialty market.

Flux are only the brokers, the insurance isn't with them.

I've always found them expensive in the past though.

Flux are specialists for modded cars so the fact yours is not modded don't expect anything spectacular.

i got a quote from them and it was dearer than what im paying now

They were the cheapest for me.

19, 0ncb, no pass plus, held license less than a year, worst postcode catagory, highly modified 1.2 16v - £1500.

I was getting quoted of over twice that everywhere else.

I've always found them to be expensive. I had a quote with the 182 a couple of years ago for about £2000, my renewal was only £600 or so!

  133, 182, Kangoo 182
One of the most expensive for me when I got my car.

Was 18 at the time (now 19), 1.2 with no mods.. just passed. Was over 2k but that's all I remember.

Adrian Flux were the cheapest for my 172. They quoted me £450 fully comp with mods declared. The next realistic offer was £850.

I'm 24 with 5 years ncb.

I think they're being a little harsh on you. Have you looked at Admiral, Elephant or Tesco?

I'll have a look at Admiral, Elephant and Tesco. My renewal with Direct Line I'm expecting to come out at about £800-£900 - w/o pass plus.

  Clio 172 Cup
They were £200 more expensive for me...Privelidge was cheapest but I think you need a few years no claims.

Lowering my GTi-6 made the policy cheaper :)

They wanted more for my Cup a year, but stayed with them as I changed over cars 9 months into the policy. If they dont beat other quotes I get in June, i'l go elsewhere. Simple.

they were shocking with me aswell... Im 19 (20 in june), have 2 years no claims and no convictions or anything.

£2000 for a 1.2 16v Clio with all mods declared...

With Admiral, all mods declared, on my own... £950!!!

Just a bit of a difference!

I'm paying less than that at 19 with Admiral on a 172..

  BMW M5 & E36
Theyve done me quite well on the valver, modified silly amounts, 0ncb to use 20yo etc.

Standard-ish 182 i'm with admiral at the moment, renewal soon though so will see.

I've been with flux for the past 3 years and they have always found by far the cheapest policy for me (plus I like that anything above 10k is classed as unlimited mileage).
