Advantages of 172 widetrack?

  225 powered mk2
Right, im currently doing an engine conversion into my mk2 ph1 and putting a megane 225 engine in it, But im considering doing the 172 widetrack at the front to make it handle better.

1st question, what is needed for it all, Rack, Wishbones? etc

2nd Question, People who run this setup, can you really tell the difference?

Many thanks!

Well I'm not very well up on the parts etc but if you don't do the 172 front suspension conversion you'll just have a non sport suspension setup designed for 110bhp with a 225bhp engine in it, which will probably end up at 260bhp after a map.

When I upgraded from 1.2 to 172 I instantly noted the wider track and better setup on the 172, it makes them a lot more planted and the cars feel completely different. Obviously theres a few other factors but the wider track is very noticeable.
