advice needed please

i have a different plenum on my 182 that used to use a omex 600,any way its all gone back to standard now minus a hose that can not be connected up and the entry for it has been removed and sealed,it is for the carbon canister on the back end of the plenum,problem is it keeps bringing up the orange engine light bottom right corner of the dash,i remove it and 40 miles later its back,rs tuner saying canister purge fail,anyone know of a way i can do something tih this?cheers

wont be the pipe that's causing the light. the canister has a plug on it, have a look and see if it's plugged in

might be a silly sugestion but sometimes when you are on a run and have a decat on the 182 the engine management light comes on which you can reset with one of those thingys from ktec, that plugs into your diagnostic port (in cabin).....


was it on bodies before?

im not sure what it was on before i bought it like that,but i know its nothing to do with my decat as my rs tuner is telling me its the canister
