After marked viper stripes

bought a 03 172 cup which has aftermarket viper stripes on im wanting to remove these but im not sure if the paint would have faded as i dont know when they were added it could of been when the car was newand so would leave a nice bright line underneath whats your thoughts guys ?

and if i can remove them can nayone recoment a decent polish or colour restorer to go over where thay came of

ide possibly try find out how long theyve been on there for?

if the paint has faded and weathered, even polishing it will be a pain in the arse and may not bring it back 100%

the garage dont know with it being a 03 plate they got it with them on from pervious owner of whom i cannot contact so could be 4 years
