After what miliage I supposed to change wheel bearings ?

  Clio MkII 172 K reg
Hi everyone,
I just wonder if there any recommendation to change wheel bearings after X millage ?
My car done about 50000 miles already. I know that to change rear bearings I also need to change rear discs. what about front bearings ? Should I change at this milage all 4 around ? or wait until 60000 or whatever ?

Abot the front ones - can I replace them myself or I need a press or whatever to do this job ?

i have 58000 kilometers, also thinking this..

how far they last in your clio when they get noisy?

if they aint broke dont fix them,, they dont wear as such but when they do start to wear it becomes obvious as it will make a droning noise

and no, you dont need to change the rear discs to change rear bearings
and front bearings are quite alot more involved than rears not really diy unless you have a press
sometimes an airchisel helps too

Ok, for I not hear the sound of failed bearing.
How do I change the fronts bearings ?

  LY 182
remove front hub
press hub flange out
airchisel whats left of the bearing off of the hub flange
remove circlip from hub and press outer race of bearing out
press new bearing in fit circlip
press flange in to bearing making sure you are pressing on both inner tracks of the bearing
refit hub

Depends. I bought my rear discs and pads from Renault which had the bearings already pressed in. As my bearings where gone and had no rear brakes, made it much easier as didnt have to fuss about getting the bearings pressed in. Just bolt straight on.

yeah mu understanding is you can get them pre pressed in but they are more expensive this way. you can buy them seperate but need to get them pressed in
