Air bag light/steering wheel electrical help needed

After changing the steering wheel from sparco back to standard the serv and airbag lights are on. Spoke to a local mechanic who thinks it could be something to do with the wound up coil thing inside the steering colum. Apparently if this is not lined up correctly it will snap?? Any ideas whats going on or what thins coiled wore part is called.

Most likely just need a resistor as you've removed the airbag.

Yeh you need a resistor to turn the light off, I know because I need to do it to mine aswell!

the airbag unit is back on as its the standard wheel on the car now. So its a completly standard set up, just managed to mess sumthing up along the way. Any ideas?

Find someone near you with an RSTuner and they can turn off the light for you
