Air-brushed clio

Last night on Men and Motors, had a show on called Top Dog. Comparing two really modded motors, a Saxo Vtr and Clio 1.8 rsi.

This clio had full Mynheer kit, 18" Boss rims and FULL airbrushing of, wait for it.... Lord of the rings. In the boot it had a scenery in which the speakers where built into lol. Really mad.

Saxo did look nice (not usually someone for saxos) In the end Clio won. Any one see this show???

I watched that programme earlier, ive seen the clio at a few car shows.

Its very well done... but it now.. and in a month, itll be "then" if you get what i mean..

the funniest thing was watchin that guy in the clio go round the track...

he went sooooo slow! prob didnt want to chip his paintwork!

even funnier is the fact that i cud rag them both in my 1.4 16v! with all that ice/18s/bodykit, they aint goin newhere fast!

Yeah i saw it again Sat afternoon, Just laughed when he was going round the track, mighty slow. All you need now is some arse puttin a key down the side of his car! Wonder how much hes spent on his garage??

There was a show called Trucks 3 on later on that day, and they had some sweet themed truck cabs. When asked how much the airbrusched truck cabs cost the owner of the haulauge company said 5 - 6 grand, 8 tops. 15 grand for the job on the clio? I think not...

I sat and watched that too saner.. i really dont know why! i mean.. watching how a van gets made from start to finish in a factory.. that was compulsive viewing!!

It was good when they were at santa pod though, and filming the mad V8 thing that did 0-130 in 10 seconds...

lol, i know what you mean. Some show however boring they are just manage to transfix you.

The finish of the boot install in the lotr clio looked shocking, bit of carpet not stuck down properly. He was claiming the boot install was 4k, looked like a blue peter special. Seamed to be picking figures out of the air!
