Air Con blowing warm air !! 2003 172

Turned the car on tonight and the air con is blowing but not cooling , the fans working I can hear the compressor kick in and the system is at the normal pressure , what else could the problem be ?

pressure gauge reads 25 psi which is about normal.

You got me baffled, have you had it on a Aircon machine to check high and low side running pressures, 25psi is not good on a high side which should run around 4 or 5 bar.

Normally when the AC system is gassed ok the external temp sensor is at fault.

lol I had a pressure gauge on the low pressure port of the ac pipe and it read 25psi . How much will a garage charge to fit a new sensor ?

mike means the external temp display on the bit with the clock/radio display!

if thats showing ok, the other thing is has it ever had a aircon service/re-gas etc??

ahh right , there doesn't seem to be a problem with that as it still reads the external temp ?
