Air con pipes

Not sure how to describe what I'm on about but it's the square foam thing that covers part of the aircon pipes. It's located at the top left of the engine bay near the brake fluid reservoir.

Is it vital it's there? Mine has finally ripped off after messing around with the brake fluid reservoir.

Lol, such an after thought from Renault. What's their actual purpose anyway? Just heat protection?

as far as I am aware mate yeah, most of the Ph1's are an after thought lol, mk1's even worse!

Lol very true, there's some very bizarre things gone on when they built the ph-1s, never had the pleasure of working on a mk1 so I can't comment on that

Iv had 6 of them :S and 5 Ph2's :S

Think I would have learnt by now
