Air filter which 1?

My cars due for its first service soon 12k which im not having done with renault but a garage ive always used.

I knwo that the air filters gonna be changed would you say its worth gettings say a performance filter or standard jobby..obviously i want to keep the warrenty ,will this void it?

Also whats the best filter to get and wheres the best place?

Green cotton panel filter...bbut ITG and K&N panels will be fine as well
