Air Filters

I am wanting to put a new air filter onto my 182 trophy but not to sure which on to go for was think of the k-tec racing one. Is there much of a driving difference to replacing an air filter don't think mines ever been replaced. I'm just being fussy there's nothing wrong with the performance or anything of my car.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Sarah,

No real difference, most of it is placebo.

I've had the standard paper one, an ITG and currently a K&N filter and not noticed any real (noticeable) difference.

The only good thing is that they don't need to be changed over every 12,000!

Fred seems to prefer the paper ones

If you want noise why not change it

I have got a Powertec on mine from KTR and it sounds great !

Get an Espace V6 airbox, can't go wrong for the sound, though it probably won't give you any horses like the other filter options!

I've got a K-Tec Racing panel filter for the standard airbox, will make it breathe a bit better than the standard filter.
