Alarm and place for instalation

Hi guys, well pick up my clio on monday, a 2002 plate clio 1.5 dci. amongest other things pretty much first on the list is a good quality CAT 1 alarm as with the new job its likely ill have some SUPER expensive kit in the boot from time to time.

So what alarm do most go for? i was looking at the Viper 480 vx as i can get this plus fitting for £250

Also where is the best place for fitting, pretty much anywhere between dundee and london would be fine and im not scared of traveling for somwhere with the right reputation

And im not intrested in the likes of GAP, in my experience they are cowboys and im not intrested in the slightest

Are there any group buys or discounts with clio sport? Paid up last night and likeing the site

I got my toad ai606 installed yesterday for £219.99 by Precision Alarms on Canvey Island. Great bunch of people there, I just waited in their office while the install was done then the engineer went through everything to do with the alarm. They had quite a few people just pop down and ask odd random questions which they were happy to answer, also sorted some issues that had nothing to do with them for free.

for thatcham they need to vsib (sp) approved for full certifcate, i went to motorguard in birmingham, u can always get the alarm cheap but it's the fitting that kills u , mine was £360ish with proximity sensors and tilt sensors

Exactly who I was going to reccommend, they did mine last month, were the cheapest on ebay for fitting at their workshop and only charged £30 extra to come fit at my home which is 40 miles from there so for basically cost. Top job, I cant even find where he put the unit and its a good alarm.

ive got the toad ai606 on my dci too, good alarm, got the double shock sensor and tilt sensor in with it incase dicks hit my car or try to jack it up. came to £270 fitted with the extras, came out to my house from wakefield.

the 480 xv messages u when car has been tampered with, make sure they are vsib approved for fitting

yeah been looking at 480 xv, looks like a good system and the pager system is a nice idea aswell
