Only 2 complaints! One guy was just a prick saying there was no space (not that he matterd to him anyway!) and another complaining about no path space, I dislike her too lol. Its not like it happens often anyway!

Tis the way forward!

Couple of little bits to update from this afternoon.

Started by servicing my Clio (9k since last service and before Surrey RR day)....

Then got interupted by ParisPeach... Hes been complaining about a exhaust blow for a while now, and since tbunker1912's Clio is finished, Paris took that and left his....

10mins later I found why it was so bad. Firslty the Miltek mid box...

Secondly the Scorpion (iirc?) Silenced Decat...

Welded it all up, and bashed it back together. Now completely fixed

Also, a week or so go ago I collected another spare wheel, Won it on ebay for £1.04 lol

Have some more stuff to do on my car before Saturday, and probably some more stuff to update.

Update time, Nothing has happend on my driveway though! Well, sorta.

Firstly, went to a facebook Renault (basically Clio) meet at Pitsea on Thursday. Wasn't too bad.

Then Yesterday went to SRR....

Firstly, I had it RR'ed at Rindys with the EoE lot early last year. Completely standard...

Since then, I've fitted an intercooler, Decatted it, removed bacbox and done a further 10k I think.

After smoking everybody out on the way in...

The power/Torque it made....

Extreamly happy with that, I was expecting 70. Made more torque than some of the 2.0's lol.

Got some other random pics too...

Was a allround good day. Now I just need more power!

Yesterday was the tester tbh. I got out of the car at the end of the day, and was like, seats are going. I'm going to get them cleaned and PM you first, and some others before they go up for sale.
grazo22 Break out the welder. Cut it open, smash it out, weld it back up. All mine is. Isn't the best solution, but it was free.

Probs could, I didn't bother trying though. If I was to do it again, I'd weigh in the std cat and custom make a pipe, which will flow better too, Maybe get me to 78hp!

Reality is, I'll be throwing the 1.5 away in favor for a 1.9 later this year. Hopefully have it done before some shows, and at least before CSS.

At at the rate I'm going AT, you and me will nearly have the same engine , but I think I'm going down the mechanical injection route to save faffing with looms.

I'll be needing driveshafts, I'm keeping the Renault box. I need to figure the shifter too! I doubt I'll find a dci100 stick etc. also need to figure clutch master cylinder.

Planned to change my cambelt tonight... Didn't get it done....

Had to run down my mates and strip the front end of my car apart...

Since the bolt that you remove to fit the crank locking pin had rounded, I'm probably to blame, but its my own car so! Ran it down to my mate as hes good with removing stubborn bolts, but even after an 50mins it wasn't out, so decided to weld a nut onto it...

5mins later it was out, and replaced with a nice Hex head bolt.

Will actually change the cambelt tomorrow evening!

Did the cambelt last week, Have done a few things since but nothing amazing..

I did finally order all the bits from Renault Wolverhampton thanks to Adam....

Some more maintenance on the DCi tonight.

Sounded terrible the last couple of days, bit like a steam train sometimes.

Cause, an injector seal, just a thick copper washer at the bottom of the injector. Midway through changing...

Got some pics of my rear camber the other day. I doubt it'll stay as this much, but need to find time to get the shims fitted.

I couldn't capture it very well at all tbh.

Not much to update here, Done loads but have pictures of none!

First up, My car broke down.. First time in a year or however long I think!

Heres the issue...

Piece of metal hanging out, and lots of movement!
It had been an issue for a little while, I was hoping to avoid replacing it this week, but then it got really bad, before failing completely and causing belt slip and the pulley to hit the alternator and not charge the battery etc, Oopps! I just ended up removing the aux belt at the side of the road and carrying on my trip, with nothing electrical switched on.

Quickly fixed it when I got home by removing the pulley, and fitting a Clio 1*2 alternator pulley (which is solid unlike my original dampened one) as a temp measure, Works well though!

Very pleased with my little bodge!

Also done loads of other jobs this weekend, one of them being Minty's cambelt on his 172 Turbo, Bloody brilliant car!

had to swap the pulley on mine last year after going through 2 belts. fuckng squeaking
