I was trying to avoid touch screen actually. Never used one but just need something basic for general office use. I can see the touch screen breaking quickly.Look in to the HP TouchSmart.. they're a fair bit cheaper AFAIK and they're not bad for general day to day use.
Can of course be used without the touchscreen, just using the keyboard and mouse. Just a general 'all rounder' in the world of all in ones.I was trying to avoid touch screen actually. Never used one but just need something basic for general office use. I can see the touch screen breaking quickly.
We're on laptops at the moment but I want to move the guys to desktops now.Why an all in one? May as well get a laptop with some form of dock.
Probably cheaper and easier.

All come with Windows 10 Pro so perfect if you're a domain environment. Considering the offer on the top 1 there's really no reason to go none touch screen.
All of our data is on a shared drive so storage and solid state literally means nothing for these machine mate.It would maybe be worth hunting out something that has an SSD drive.
It'll likely come in at another £60 per unit, and not for as much storage, but it will make them far more useable.

If it has to be an all in one, these are on my shortlist

Sure you can.Fair enough guys! It might be worth getting a standard PC with a separate monitor then.
Its been so long since I shopped for computers. I guess you cant buy packages anymore with cables, keyboard and mouse and all?
Would 100% slap my boss if he bought me a PC from PC world.
Would 100% slap my boss if he bought me a PC from PC world. (or at least make jokes about how bad he is with IT stuff for a few months)

Pretty perfect spec.
Overall I will be spending a lot more but worth it.
@Jeff simply Thinkpads have always been the winner for actual professional workhorse-ing
I have no idea why the Surface Book even came to be. A fat Surface? Nah, just a normal Pro with a keyboard cover thanks.
That's the same as our IT department has just fitted to our offices, although the units we have are from Dell.Would 100% slap my boss if he bought me a PC from PC world. (or at least make jokes about how bad he is with IT stuff for a few months)

Rather a Surface than an iPad pro.All the surfaces are s**t. The Book at least has a decent keyboard, just a flawed screen and materials let it down. Oh and the OS that isn't designed for a touch screen....
