Alloy Footrest

Hi All,

Has anyone had any problems fitting an Alloy Footrest for their Clio's?

They are supposed to be very easy to fit, est time 15mins.
I've had nothing but hassle fitting mine, starting with getting the original bolt out of the plastic footrest!!!!

Which foot rest are you talking about? The Megane one?

Pull the bolt out along with the plastic footrest.

You might have to get the footrest out and hammer the screw out from the back.

The bolt stuck in my plastic rest too when I removed it
Ended up having to drill it out then use a few washers to secure the bolt for the alloy one as I'd ripped half the plastic away trying to get the original bolt out
