ALLOY WHEELS AND BRAKE DUST

  CLIO WILLIAMS #0215

right my wheels are getting refurbed this week and i wanna keep them clean obviously, but how do i stop them getting dirty from brake dust? is there a spray or something i can spray on the alloy that stops dust from sticking to them?i remember something ages ago like a clear disc you put on the inside of the alloy to stop dust coming thru the alloy? do these exist? and would it affect air not getting to the disc and not cooling the disc/pads??? any help appreciated

theres some sort of wax that you can apply but i dont know the name of it. saw it in a demon tweeks catalogue. Also, K-tecs kevlar brake pads are supposed to give off less brake dust....

I just use ordinary car wax, it dont stop the dust gettign on, but it cleans off easily, and doenst damage the wheels

use "traffic film remover".. i think thats what i used to use. mix 20% of that with water n spray it on ya wheels, wait 5 mins n ya rims will come up like new.
