alpine is good but it isnt THE best.

my cousin knows the rep for JL AUDIO so he would be able to sort me out something cheap he said,

alpine because, wel, dnt realy know, just like their stuff

i heard other brands in shops & im not realy impressed

i heard the alpine subs in bassjunkies in wolverhampton, & the JL AUDIO in a guys car who works at bassjunkies wolverhampton, & just cnt really make up my mind

but the amp is not really ideal to run two of the jl subs

is the alpine stuff above good but the JL AUDIO stuff is better, or is it a fact that the alpine stuff is wack??

nah the alpine stuff is alright just few things make the jl that bit better

i'd love to say 1000/1 but i'd go for the e1800d (make sure your gentle with just one sub)

lol about the 1000/1, i kinda had a feeling youd say it, but the price of that i basically my budget for all my ICE

there again the e1800d is alot of money aswell

so the alpine stuff is good then, i wouldnt have a crap system if i had the above alpine stuff??

I would go go for one X Type sub over 2 R Types...

Have you considered that as an option?

I would personally go with the Alpine system...

i have considered the type x yes, supose it would be better as it takes up less room & it has the same max power & rms as the type r combined

Id go with the JL stuff alpine make great headunits ok amps and average speakers.

JL pride themselves on having good quality sound. They do make some of the nicest sounding subs and speakers on the market. Alpine dont.

A lot of the JL stuff is overpriced though IMO (I have owned most of it!)

The Type X Alpine stuff is very good quality - have a look online for some reviews

The high end JL stuff is very good though, but at that price, there is better stuff...
