Alternator Cover

Hiya.

I want to put my cold air feed behind my RS Grille although the alternator cover is in the way. Not sure if the sports have this peice of plastic but is it fine to remove? I mean, if there is a trumpet there its protecting it slightly anyway?

Should be fine m8y because the caf will cover most of it like you sed. I did a few hundred miles without one on at all in wet conditions and all was fine, so I wudn't worry
