Alternator on 182. Do I do cambelt and water pump now?

My alternator has failed on me today and I’m being reliably informed the aux belt will require replacing also to do the repair.

The car is due its second cambelt and aux belt change January 2014.
What are the realistic options I have to do now?

Do I replace the alternator and aux now and redo the aux along with water pump and cambelt abd depahaser again in 2014 or do it all now?

What financial loss is involved with doing in 2 stages?
The car is a 182 and I am considering selling so the belts done will aid a sale.

its 2hours max to do the alternator (and full aux kit)

so

recon alternator from BTM (as an example of course ;)) £120
aux kit £72
2 hours labour £100ish??

sub £200

or add the cambelt etc on

no labour to do the alternator (5min tops to swap)

so i'd be £425 for belts + £120 for alternator

dephaser - upto you

Sadly I don't have the ability to get it to you. It's at Renault within my company and new genuine parts being used. Are your cambelt and aux belt change £425 plus dephaser and water pump inc service? PM if you can a breakdown please Fred.

aux kit
cam shaft seal kit (behind pulleys)
crank pulley bolt
2 cam plugs
£425inc VAT

dephaser inc oil and filter add £175
waterpump and coolant add £75

alternator just the part cost

Sounds good Fred. If I get the alternator done now, as well as the aux belt. I gather the aux belt is needed again when doing the water pump?
