My alternator has failed on me today and I’m being reliably informed the aux belt will require replacing also to do the repair.
The car is due its second cambelt and aux belt change January 2014.
What are the realistic options I have to do now?
Do I replace the alternator and aux now and redo the aux along with water pump and cambelt abd depahaser again in 2014 or do it all now?
What financial loss is involved with doing in 2 stages?
The car is a 182 and I am considering selling so the belts done will aid a sale.
