Am i attempting the impossible?

I'm in the process of trying to take the bump strip out of my rear bumper (mk2 ph2 non sport) and wondering if it is actually possible without taking the whole bumper off?

And also any tips for taking the middle bump strip on the front bumper. got the 2 corner ones off but the middle one is giving me a bit of bother atm,

got the front one off with brute force but i dont want to use this on the back encase i break it. anyone able to help?

I think you have to take the bumper off, either way bumper off is like a ten minuite job.

i think it can come off without removing the bumper but if you are really struggling then take the rear bumper off, its only a case of undoing 4 bolts, 10 minute job thats all

my jack and axel stands are at my mates house so its gona have to come off without the bumper coming off or it'l have to wait until another day

you dont need to jack it up to get the bumper off unless its lowered a lot..

need to get wheel arch liners off and i cant do that without the wheel off? maybe im just being stupid?
