Thanks fella. The more I’ve done during lockdown, the more needs sorting. Engine bay needs a lot of work, lots of bits needed underneath too. Never ending!I follow you on instagram always impressed with the level of attention to detail

I'm the same. I had the front bumper off the other day and I was looking at all the muck and telling myself I don't need those parts to be all clean and shiny. Luckily my will is strong and I left it filthy and put the bumper back over it all😂.I will be honest I look at all the threads like yours and it scares me that it just becomes never ending as I can be very obsessive once I've started. Trying to stay on the side of just doing the functional stuff on my own project.. for now.
My AC rad rusted off its bracket and took out the radiator, left me with no coolant and stranded! Took the opportunity to delete the AC and hpas while the engine was out. I’ve spent enough money this year without painting bolts 😅I'm the same. The ac rad was a bit crusty though🙄.

Appreciate that - thanks. There’s a lot more impressive builds than mine on here. Enjoy yours 👍New recent owner, first post in isolation, just read this from start to finish.
Inspirational thread! I am going outside to work on the car!
In situ - kept plenty of towels handy and small sections at a time 👍Did you remove half the dash to do that trim, or in situ?

Do you think Autosmart's G101 would work as well?
I can’t see why not. I’ve heard it can bleach interior surfaces if too strong though.
I used a regular pan scourer - sponge with a scouring pad on top. Worked well.
Your going to have to share what you've done to the belt buttons. I got in mine the other day and thought "I wonder if there's anything to restore those back to red"!Day off today so some more lockdown projects. Seatbelt buttons restored, cargo net added and all exterior plastics coated with Gyeon Trim. Wife’s car washed as still in almost daily use.
Belts service next - possibly later this week.

Fantastic as usual 👌 bet it’s comforting (despite the bill) to get those major service items sorted and done!
What paintwork are you getting done?,.
