Car  E87 118i
finally put my mind to it today and got the thing done.

I doubled up the carpet to get it a lttle more rigid and tucked in under the beading to fill the gap...should be ok for now.

Its fairly tightly wedged in now and with the new fiberglass box having a flat left side it'l prolly just be wedged in between.

Would you be interested in making some of these up for sale, because i would be interested in purchasing a set.

Look real proffesional

Tidy job mate. Did you glue the material to the wood. How'd you do the corner edges soo tight.. At that stage with mine. Also howd u attach it so it doesnt fall out??

thanks

yip, glued on with contact, luckily this stuff is stretchy, so just make sure the glue is dry so it make a quick set and pull tightly, sometime you have to make a few slices so you can pull it in a few dirctions to get it smooth.

its not attached, will only use it when the fiberglass box is painted, its fairy tightly wedged in and the box will keep it place too I think.

its not going to hold an amp or anything, just "filling the gaps".
