Another busy day at Middosport...

finally got a day off work so set about clearing most of the stuff thats been lying around the house.

this includes 2xrenault diamonds, 3xsets of dash inserts, 2xengine covers, 6xside badges, 2xinternal door handles, and 4 centre caps. then i've got my own stuff to worry about, and some stuff at the post office ive not picked up yet.

anyways, couple of pics

saw my mate this morning mark - hes taken the o.e 90 degree bend off me to see if he can make one like hil powers for us - otherwise if not itll just be normal bend. sorry they have taken a while - I have been meaning to go and see him but not been well.

As soon as they are sorted Ill send you some new badges to keep you busy!

thanks for that matey, but i only wanted just a conventional elbow. but a hillpower style one with the breather pipe attachment would be perfect

as for the door handles i haven't got a spare set, but i want some myself as im not 100% happy with the way mine have come out. mainly because of the bloody rubber coating renault decided to put on for me. think normal plastic ones would give a much better finish.

yeah its liquid yellow and arctic blue.

got a special engine cover in the garage (mine lol) which ive still not decided how to paint. so pics of that on my car when i finally get around to getting the bay polished and manifold matched.

looks very nice mate, what type of paint you using, conventional stuff? i take it they are all ok with the temp of the engine

wheels went on today, didn't compound polish them this time and they seem alright lets hope they don't cloud

cant wait. will do your 1.2 engine cover if you want that spraying up. did my old one in a dodgy 4 way flip and that looked cool.... until the garage couldnt get it to fit right and cracked it :dapprove:

freebone - glad your all sorted now. paint is fine in the engine bay as the cover gets warm, but isnt in direct contact with anything really hot. have done a few with no problems, except for makavellis fluff

lol thats cos it didnt fit :rasp: i've done the front badge and the inserts and the badges were done until jess spilt some yellow paint on them (women eh). Will have em done by the end of the week though!

lol dont even start me on your bits! had serious problems today. Tried to repray over the white in racing blue and it reacted really badly and all cracked out. So sanded it down, and tried again and it did the same thing! bloody b**ch b****cks. So i reprimed it, and so far the primers not reacted, so hopefully will get the primer sanded tomorrow and get them resprayed.

White badges are done and the dash inserts just need to get my arse down the sticker place to get you a blue sticker made up (may have to post that down to you as they take a couple of days to make em)

Debs i'll pm you with a price for a liquid yellow and racing blue cover.

BTW andys badges arent laquered yet hence the dullness lol
