Anti Roll Bar bit of help please

Has anyone changed the bushes before ?
I had to take the roll bar off and now Im finding it difficult to get back on - I put the bushes (the two that hold the bar to the subframe) back in correctly but its so tight I cant get the bracket far enough round it to get the bolt through.

Any suggestions - I tried a g clamp to push the bracket together - but it just slips off.

longer bolts is the cheating way to do it, they're a t**t to do

aye, longer bolts, big f**k off clamp and a file to elongate the holes

have you tried pulling sex faces when using the clamp? that can help too
