Anyone thinking of buying a 182/Cup

...DO IT!

Oh hell yeah this is another one of my rants. Just taken the sl*g out for a spin...no...a right leathering. The offie had a sign on the window sayingh back in 10mins so I thpught itd be rude not to go for a cruise

Hot DAMN its a sublime car. Once youre really hooked up it just becomes an amazing tarmac eating machine of biblical proportions. Of course there are many faster cars in a straight line, but I bet there arent many that can run the A-B faster with such a smile on your face and for such little cash. Holy sh*t I cant believe this thing only set me back 12 large

Saw a MkI 172 in Horsham at the weekend at thought how mint it looked :D

Mines a right dirty sl*g at the moment. The paintwork is cleanish but the wheels are dirty as hell, and she looks like she means business. Inferno with nearly black wheels :devilish:

Well the only car Ive driven that handled better day-to-day was a Lotus Elise. Each to their own though Davey Boy
:D

Well touch wood then mate. Only had one problem with mine so far. Although the dealer was utter w**k of course :D

Roy how do you afford the large quantities of class As you clearly get through, lol. Mine has a death toll in bugs that an african warlord would be proud of smeared all over the bonnet, windscreen, wing mirrors and bumper. Not to mention all the brake dust on my impossible to keep clean white wheels.

Still havent taken my car for a B-road spin..I must do that, Ive gone rather quickly across a few roundabouts, that was fun! Lets face it, Im just a wuss

^^ Im leaning toward track time now. I cant stress the car much further without getting banned. Also, having tried a few sweeping bends at insane speeds, Ive realised that this car needs a track if Im ever to find its limits legally.

You sound worse than me mate ;-)

I had a 182 behind me tonight and a mk1 172 came the other way, both waved at each other and I felt left out no lobger owning an RS clio :(

Another quality Roy thread :)

I know what you mean though. Took mine out on Sat for the first time in weeks, when you sat in the drivers seat giving it some proper beans that you remember why you brought it in the first place... Your favourite bit off road and the shift light.

You should all come upto Scotland for a blast on some mega A and B roads ;)

Know what youre saying here Roy, the 182 is definitely a performance bargain!

I fitted my prospeed exhaust last night, and think I woke up half the county on my way home at 11pm last night! Now its got more than enough bark to match its bite! (Seems pretty damn loud to me, and thats without the de-cat fitted!)
