Apple choice to be made!

Hi... don't really know much about mac's. My girlfriend has a G5 iSight with OS X 10.6.8 which I believe is Snow Leopard?


Basically her mouse is broken and I want to get her a new one for Christmas.


Shall I go for the Magic Mouse, or is it worth getting the Trackpad?

For a big screen i always prefer the magic mouse. I like both though

As above, I hate using the trackpad on larger screens.

I've got both and use the track pad much more. I'm running Mountain Lion though, which has a couple more gestures than SL though IIRC.

I prefer using the track pad, don't really like the magic mouse, and I hate how loud they are when moving it around on the desk.

We have both trackpad and mouse. Definitely use the trackpad more, but mouse gets used for playing with photos.
