Apple TV

Media on a Time Capsule can de accessed by more than one computer tho can it not?

Not properly.
It can.. but if one person adds to the library, the other people have to manually add too... ugh.. awful.. and it gets messy.. quickly. It's not properly synced.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
I got Windows Home Server. TBH, massively disappointed. iTunes needs to be on it's supported list.

Well.. you seen the new MediaSmart's? HP added "Mac Support" - useless.
It allows backup from Time Machine now (without the dirty bodge).. great...

They still just stream stuff though via daap, which is useless for most people..

Apple need to do something.. and then they'll be in a great position for the home market, in both computing and media stuff.

Yep. MS have just about conceded the Media Player fight and let iTunes have it's way, because I'll give Apple their dues - it's better. One thing that MS have nailed though, is Media Player, Media Center and Home Server. That works as we want it to.

Pity all my stuff is in AAC and I've got an Apple TV, as I'd be very tempted to switch...

Media Player is awful IMO.. I hate it.. Media Center is good as is Home Server integration.
However, I have SkyHD so no need for full recording TV etc.. all I want is to be able to have centralised music mainly.. which, if Apple get their finger out, could be very very good.
Maybe if they did it properly centralised, I'd consider doing streamed movies around the network too.. but again, I mainly just use Sky Movies.. Heh.

iTunes is beyond awesome. I always used to just drag and drop files onto Winamp before.. but now, never again.. iTunes > *
