Arch liners

I have a 1.5 DVD clio and have just replaced the front bumper, wings and skirts.

I have got 182/172 arch liners however they don't fit is this normal? It appears the arches don't fit with the suspension. Anyway to resolve this?

Also on the skirts there is a little gap at the top of the skirt (where it's rests on the body) if water gets in could it pull the nuts and bolts from the skirt?

The arch liners should fit fine on non sport suspension provided they haven't been rolled or broken. The fixings under the skirts need to be tighter before you put the actual skirt on. It should be quite a struggle to put them on for it to be a decent fit.
