Are my top mounts f**ked? (Pics & Video)

  Liquid Yellow 182 FF
Just this week my coilovers have started to clunk when going round corners or over bumps at low speeds. Ive since ordered a couple of the washers to maybe help fix this, but whilst I await them I thought id take a look. Below are a couple of pics, left and right and also a crappy phone video of the mount when I'm turning the wheel. When I tried to take them off, the rubber just spins and I can't seem to loosen them :( Any help would be appreciated:

Right (where the clunking is coming from)

your top mounts look to be assembld incorrectly, that plate is way too tight aginst the body (it shouldnt even touch the car)

who fitted the topmounts onto the coilovers? looks to be assembled wrong

Was a friend, but once they had been fitted I went to a performance place near me where they set all the height and made sure it will all fitted correctly. How does it look wrong Fred? What can I do to sort it? lol

I see what you mean now, I found a couple of pics online of standard set ups and I see how you mean its not touching the body, I wonder how mine are fitted incorrectly?

Seems silly, but your friend hasnt left the insert and little nut off the top mount?

What do you mean? Sorry im a flid when it comes to stuff like this, Im just trying to remember how it all fits together now lol

Under the top hat is the top mount assembly, im pretty sure the only way the top hat can go that far down is if the insert/nut is missing.

fred when i took mine off they required some serious force, try getting a mate round or something..

if they've been on a while then they will need some balls to get them off, generally speaking, hand tools (or if your flash like me) buzz gun

Okay so with some help from 'Littlegh' or George as he is also known. I have stop the clunking and I think its all sorted.

Looked at my old suspension and found some parts (two golden parts in the middle) that I believe needed to be fitted, now the top mounts sit how they are meant to and no more noise :)

Here are some pics:
