Are RS 172 prone to oil surge ???

Hi all,

Just wondered if those in the know could clarify if the RS 172 is prone to oil surge on long high speed sweeping corners ?

Checked oil level (cold) and its spot on the mark but there are times on certain corners (leaving at J11a of the M5 in particular) the OIL and STOP light comes when corning at high speed but when exiting the corner the lights go out.

Is this the norm or something I should look into further like oil pressure switch etc ?
