Ariel Blank

Removed the ariel and it's left two small hols (4mm and a 10mm). Currently it is gaffa tapped up, but I am getting the roof wrapped as water marks have burnt into the lacquer and its cheaper than getting it painted, it's a track car so would rather spend the money on performance upgrades.

So what have people done to fill the holes....cheap and simple. I cannot weld, and I don't really want to put filler and that in unless I have too. Was thinking just some small blind grommets. Just wanted to know what else has been done.

I've used a plastic square bung from ebay, cost me about a quid. Yet to put silicon around it but it does the job. Think they're the things you see in the end of office furniture, just silicon it in.

Didn't think about sealing them after with silicone, that isn't a bad shout!
What I'll probably do it get some grommets and then give them to whoever wraps the roof to put in aafter so it's a neat finish. I would wrap it myself by after the botched sun strip I am not doing a roof!!

I initially used one of the inner wing (plastics) circular fixings and siliconed it on, it's a large diameter so covers well. I only had a large single hole to cover. Then touched it up for a rough paint match. I've since fiberglassed and filled as I'm about to wrap the roof myself.
