Ariel stuck on car

Fitted a stupid ariel when i first got the car and now ive come to get a proper 1 i cnt take the bloody thing out. Its prob been in about a year. Havent used glue or anything.

Ive tryed WD40 but no luck. Could it be something like water has got in and frozen ? or ive heard different metal can react with another metal causing them 2 stick together ?

Any ideas on how to get it out ?

chrome and some other metals fuse,

id say, mole grips, and a long bar,

it WILL come out with brute force,

or take the headlining down abit and unbolt the accually areal holder, and get a new one from a scrapard

2nd option has less risk of damaging your car lol

A new base is £15 from ren.

how easy is it to get the old base off ?

Try from inside the car, take the headlining down a bit etc.
