Asda car insurance cheap

Had my renewal quote through from Direct Line for my 05 182.
£403.20

Went on confused.com last night
It came up with a quote from Asda of £362.98
That includes legal cover, protected ncb & £250 excess

I will be 39 next month
Have 5yrs+ ncb discount
3 points for an sp30

Does this sound good to you guys?
Or can anyone reccomend anyone else to try?
I have got 2 wks before insurance expires.

Asda wouldn't cover me my current car (fair enough) or my Clio.

Sounds pretty cheap though, maybe try those privellage etc seeing as you have so many no claims.

At 39 ive grown out of that lol

Just tried privilege. Came out at £294 but they have a compulsory excess of £400 + voluntary excess of £250. So if i made a claim i gotta shell out £650 before anthing happens.
Anyone else heard of this compulsory excess?
No wonder its cheap.

Norwich union were actually cheaper but when i phoned would not answer my question as to how much to protect no claims.

wrong!

they do, they just cover up to 3 mods and each one is 10% of ur original premium on top!

i have my mk1 clio with them and have exhaust, alloys and IK declared!
