At last! Project Refurb!

Picked up my set of willy wheels tonight, will update the thread as i go along with new pics, doing a home refurb on them
Can't complain for the price with 4 good tyres In a very manky shade of gold though:dead: Still that doesn't matter as they'll be sprayed, at least they're not curbed.
Resized the pics but not enough lol

edit: actually no it isnt as he hasnt got an exhaust like that

but hes got a lowered naples valver on black willy wheels, with a polished lip and black renault badges.. LOL

nah white looks awful on naples imo, will use an electric sander on the lip lol.

They'll need a good few coats then plenty of lacquer otherwise grid from the road will chip them very quickly

Been busy today, was up at the crack of dawn, wheels have been cleaned of all sh*te and brake dust. Sanded smooth, two coats of primer, and 3 coats of Gunmetal Grey (rover shade ) Now i'm going to give them a few coats of laquer, pics so far of todays effort

lol i admit it, i'm too tight to pay to get them taken off and put back on and also too impatient as i wanted them on the car today they're on now

one other thing, dont u think the paints a bit fresh to put them on the car? should imagine it'll chip really easily cos i know u're meant to leave the paint 24 hours to cure anywaY?

yep it probably is lol, i'm gonna give them a few more coats of paint and laquer over the next couple of weeks anyway i rekcon, cos it's a bit thin and i chipped it with the wheel brace looks allright for now though
