attaching clean licence plates ?

Bought a fresh clean set of plates from Fancy plates and they came with double sided sticky pads,
just wondered if they do a decent job of holding them in place or what are my other options ?

Velcro.

Get it in coins from Halfords. Best stuff for it.

These Velcro Giant Coins.

2 or 3 per plate and it'll stay on fine. 1 coin can hold around 1kg on it's own, so they're pretty strong.

The could have been knicked if they were screwed on. If someone wants them, they get them off.

I used both velcro and sticky pads to put mine on and it didn't stick to the bodywork well because of the outside temperature.

Gonna wait til the weather picks up a bit then reattach them

Screws look gash and can still easily be stolen.

Front ones were on the plastic trim, rear ones were on the paintwork. Both fell off within a week. Again though, I think this was just attributed to it being so cold as I've used velcro and sticky pads before. My Astra plates are on with pads atm.

Hmm don't know then. I've seen them fall off when stuck to plastic trims but never paintwork.
