Audible bleeping at 80 mph and again at 100mph ?????

Hi,can anyone tell me if this thing can be turned off?

The only bleeping my 172 has ever made is when the alarm needs resetting,
never heard of any beeping whilst driving though.

Isn't there a speed limiter / beep function on 1*2's?

Surely it's just that telling you to slow down.

There is a speed limiter, but it doesn't bleep. Well mine doesn't anyway.

I have just read that it was an option for its 1st owner to have this switched on!

A guy on the Clio Sports Owners Club said the following:-

find it and cut it out Or as above - take it to someone with CLiP and have it disabled.
